Marguerite “Marge” J. Blume

Marge J. Blume, 97, of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday. For many years, Marge worked in the offices of the Water Department for the City of Syracuse. She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida with her husband, Kenneth, who had predeceased her in 2008. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Jr. and Diane of Bridgeport; her daughter, Karen Christopherson of Newark, NY; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Paulette Peck and her nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, Feb. 14th, 10 am to noon at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will follow at noon at the funeral home and entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
