Paul S. Wilsey, 90. of Lyncourt, Passed away at home under hospice care and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in North Manlius, NY in 1928. Paul served in the United States Marine Corps and then the United States Army. He served in World War II and Korea in where he was awarded numerous medals to include a bronze star and purple heart. He was honorably discharged as a SGT in 1953. After, he worked for 45 years as a brakeman and conductor for Conrail. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Bessie, and his siblings, Marsha, Bruce, Helen and Roseanne. Paul is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his sister, Joanne Ennis; his brother, Fred Wilsey; his three sons, Paul (Carley) Wilsey, Herbert (Mary) Wilsey, Clarence (Theresa) Wilsey; his step-children, Bobby (Marsha) Kolb, Chuckie (Lynn) Kolb, David Kolb, Jimmy Kolb, Susan (Steve) Burton and Richard (Susan) Kolb; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday 3p.m to 7p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. Services will be Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery Kirkville, NY. The family would like to thank the Lyncourt Fire Department and Hospice of CNY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lyncourt Fire Dept or St. Daniels Church in Lyncourt.
