Kathleen “Kitty” (O’Reilly) Longo

Kitty Longo, 76, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday April 17th, following a brief illness. Kitty graduated from Assumption High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. She retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital after more than 40 years as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor. Kitty was an avid quilter and a member of several local guilds. Her husband Basil predeceased her in 1986. Survivors include her son Philip (Susan), daughter Stephanie (Sal) Angotti and grandchildren Adrianna, Sal, and Emma. Calling hours will be Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will follow at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Cnydiaperbank.org and/or Sunshinehorses.org.
