Lona L. (LaBeef) Madison

Lona L. Madison, 75, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday. She was formerly employed with General Electric and had retired from St. Camillus. She cherished time spent with family and with her precious dogs. Her hobbies included gardening and genealogy. Lona was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Betty; by her siblings, Joe LaBeef and Fawn Hemingway and by the love of her life, Dale. Survivors include her children, Scarlett (Ed) Emm, Tammy (Jim) Sinko; Dale (Valerie) Madison; Shawn Madison and Scott (Kelly) Madison; grandchildren, Donnie, Jessica, Danny, Nate, Zach, Beth, Jordan, Sylvia, Sophie, Jennifer and Taylor; her 14 great-grandchildren, her closest friend of 55 years, Sharon Pruner and her nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse and services will be Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home, followed by burial in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
