Doris E. Thumm

Doris E. Thumm, 82, of North Syracuse passed away on Sunday.
A devoted wife and mother who always put herself second, and others first, is now at rest in the care of God. Born in Long Island on May 27, 1935, she graduated from East Rockaway High School in East Rockaway, NY in 1954 and from The State University of New York Delhi in 1956. She married her late husband, Randolph J. on February 16, 1957 on Long Island. A long-time resident of Cicero, NY, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, as well as a bus monitor for the religious education program. Survivors include her son, Randy (Diana) Thumm of Tucson, AZ; her daughter Cheryl (James) Crast of Lyndonville, NY; her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 8th, at 1 pm in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
