Angeline M. Spadaro, 93, a life resident of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully at The Cottages at Garden Grove on Saturday. She was a communicant of St John the Baptist Catholic Church.
The second youngest of eight siblings, she lived in the family home on Syracuse’s north side all of her life. She worked for many years as a secretary to an attorney and then Carrier Corporation until her retirement. She was dedicated and loyal to her family and friends throughout her life. She loved gatherings with her large Italian family. She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Mary Spadaro, her brothers, James, Anthony, Joseph and Carmen, her sisters, Sarah Mezzatesta, Anne Cavallo, and Jennie Prunner. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Marie Spadaro and Catherine Spadaro, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her niece, Jasmin Paglia, and nephews, Peter and John Prunner are especially honored to have had the chance to spend time with her over the last four years helping to provide for her with love and laughs during her stay at the Cottages.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff that cared for her at The Cottages, as well as the many friends who visited her on a weekly basis.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 31st from 11a.m. to 1p.m. with a prayer service to follow at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
