Patti (Modzelewski) Swieck
December 19, 1950 - April 30, 2018
Patricia A. Swieck, 67, of Syracuse passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday. Patti was a lifelong resident of Syracuse who spent the last 35 years with her husband Joe, the love of her life. She was an avid reader, who loved to garden, travel, and spend time with family, especially her granddaughter, Kassadi. Patti’s motto was “life is not a dress rehearsal” and she lived to experience all she could. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Locke. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe; her sons, Don (Jenn) Locke and Corey (Kay) Locke; her granddaughter, Kassadi and beloved sister-in-law, Paula Swieck. Entombment and services were private in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
